This year we took Jonathan to the Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa Christopherson and almost all the Aunts and Uncles came to play too! It was lots of fun! Jonathan especially loved going in the bounce house with Uncle Jared! They were so funny to watch.
Jared would bounce Jonathan and he would crack up! You can see Jareds feet as he was landing in front of him! But Jonathan didnt only get to fly with Uncle Jared! Uncle Jason came over too to play another favorite game of Jonathans! Toss the baby!
Its a good thing we trust him so much! :) Then Uncle Jason found a pumpkin almost as big as Joanthan. He loved it and tried to pick it up. And was very pleased with himself when he could with Uncle Jason helping just a little.
Of course Aunt Leann got in there and helped too! Her and Jonathan found a cool wheel barrow to play with!
And a big congrats to Uncle Adam and Aunt Brittney who celebrated their first Halloween together! We love you both!
This year Jonathan actually got to wear a costume for Halloween! We actually found this outfit in a store in Morro Bay when we were there this summer. We thought it was cute so we bought it.
When Kimmie and I were little we had little outfits like this one and its fun for Jonathan to have one now too!
It had a really cute little hat that came with it but Jonathan has no patience for the hat so we only got a couple of shots with it on.
You cant see it in the pictures but it had a little braid on the back of the hat too! It was really cute. Thanks Grandma Julie for fixing the hat so it would fit on our little boys big head! ;) We didnt take Jonathan trick -or-treating we just made the rounds to visit all the grandparents and great grandparents. But we still had a blast and are looking forward to next year when Jonathan might actually want to go trick-or-treating!

Jonathan 1 Daddy 0
Jonathans favorite time of day? When daddy gets home of course which coincidentally happens to be mommy favorite time of day too! :) Jonathan is all boy and loves to rough house with daddy and wrestle around on the floor. I watch and shake my head and give constant reminders to be careful (to Jonathan cause daddy is so old ). But last night we had our first accident that left me with 2 crying boy and one of the them bleeding!
Thats right daddy came away with a wound. Poor Aaron. Jonathan and Aaron were playing on the floor when they bumped heads. Aaron was laying on the ground and Jonathan was standing above him and they both moved toward the other and smack! So basically what happened was that Jonathans two front teeth collided with Aaron nose.
As you can kinda see in the picture he has two perfect teeth indents on his nose. Its a little bruised and sore but daddy was a very good sport. I love them both and am so proud to be Jonathans mom and Aarons wife! He is an amazing father and husband and provider. We are so lucky to have him!!
P.S. This my love is revenge for posting the throw up picture of me! :) Love you!

The Big Fresno Fair!
I live for this time of year good weather and the Fresno Fair!! I love the fair I have forever! Whats not to like good food and lots of fun?!? This year we were really spoiled and we went twice! We went on Saturday night with my Parents and then Jason and Cynthia were able to come and meet up with us there! But first we played for a bit. For the last few years they have really been developing the side of the fair over by the livestock and it is amazing! So fun for the kids a huge tree house that connects to a Pirate ship lots of things to play with and slides! Fun! Jonathan even found a little part of the tree house that was just his size!
He Loved that he could open and close the door by himself and was very pleased that there was only enough room in there for him!
There is a big waterfall that you can find up in the tree house too and Jonathan of course thought that was amazing! He loves water and was so excited and he could reach out and touch it with Daddys help!
It was so fun taking him this year and watching him walk around and enjoy everything! I can only imagine that it gets better!!
As it got later Jonathan went home with my Parents and we got to stay and play with Jason and Cynthia! It was so much fun. We basically shopped through the commerce buildings and Cynthia and I got to play dress up!! LOL! We are really enjoying having them back in town!
The second time we went was Monday night. It was much less crowded and still lots of fun. This time we got to go with my Parents and to take my Grandparents too! Its always fun to take my Grandma shopping and get them out to play. They enjoying being around Jonathan too!
Jonathan getting a ride with Great Grandpa in his wheel chair. We also got Grandpa a new hat! Nice huh?
Me with my Grandpa Benny and my Grandma Mae! I love them both and am so glad we were able to go with them! Its a fun tradition going with them every year!

Jonathan and Charlotte!
First I want to say sorry to Holly for the picture but it was the only one I had when we were both pregnant! Anyways I know that we have been bad about updating lately and I am making a goal about being better starting with a blog about two of my favorite kids Jonathan and Charlotte!!! I was watching her today and loved watching them play. They get along so well and are so funny to watch! I cant believe that they are both toddlers!! I remember Holly and I being pregnant together! We were so excited and wanted our kids to be best friends! Look how far they have come!
Jonathan was only a couple days old here and Charlotte was about 4 months.
This was taken shortly before we moved out of the apartment complex! I miss the days when we could run up and down the stairs to find a sitter and friend!
But even though we moved out Jonathan and Charlotte were still able to see each other!
Now we have two big kids!! They run everywhere and are into everything! But they are still good friends!
You cant see it here but Charlotte has a book and they were looking through it together!
I cant believe that they are so big! I remember when Holly brought Charlotte home from the hospital and when she came to visit me in the hospital after I had Jonathan! Im so glad that Jonathan can have such a good little friend and that Holly and I get our wish of having our babies be such good friends!

Financial Peace University
Here is the 1st non-school book I am reading in 5 years and my newest favorite thing to listen to on the radio. The principles Dave Ramsey teaches are good advice to live by. I am truly learning valuable lessons about financial peace.
I like his advice..."Live like no one else, so later you can live like no one else!"

Lots and lots of going ons.
I know that its been forever since we have blog so this is going to be kinda long sorry! So anyways things have been crazy in our house! Aaron has started his last push to get through school! He is doing his comp exams which is basically just a bunch a papers. 6 papers to be exact plus he has to keep up in his other classes. Jonathan and I hardly get to see him right now but we know its for a good reason and are trying to be very supportive and helpful. Just a few more weeks and he will be Graduated with his Masters and we are so proud!
Krystal and Melinda were here a while ago and stayed with us for a few nights while they were on their way to Oregon. We loved having them and being able to spend sometime with them. We really miss them! Jonathan loves his Aunt Krystal and Ninna!
Jonathan is always on the go! He is crawling everywhere and into everything! He is getting bigger everyday and is so funny! He is always trying to mimic anything we do and say.His favorite words right now are Ma-ma, Da-da, Ba-ba, and NO! LOL! Yup he picked that one up pretty good. He doesnt actually know what it means and hardly uses it appropriately but he still says it. His new trick and his Daddys favorite is that he burps (kinda) with Aaron. Aaron will burp and Jonathan tries to burp back. Mom just sits back and shakes my head. He is such a boy!!
Jonathan has also learned to pull himself up on things and even walk along holding on the something. He scared his parents to death the other day when he pulled himself up in his crib one morning and decided that he wanted his toy boat that was on the shelf next to his bed. Trying to get it he knocked it over. So all Mom and Dad heard was a loud crash from his room! You can see the boat upside down at the bottom is the picture. Aaron lowered his crib that afternoon.
Jonathan and Jordyn the little girl that I watch have been loving the warm weather. It means that they get to play outside. Which basically means that I get to pull them around in Jonathans wagon! But they love it thats really all that matters.
Jordyn loves playing with Baby Jonathan! She really thinks of him as a big toy and always want to help me dress him! Its funny.
For Easter we went to Pismo with my Parents and my sister! It was great we really needed the break and Aaron got a little vacation before starting his comp exams. We had a wonderful time the weather was perfect and our Hotel super nice! We stayed at the Pismo Lighthouse Inn and Suites! I highly recommend it! They had a heated pool and hot tube that look out on the ocean and an amazing courtyard with tons of fun things to do. Like a mini golf course. We even found Jonathan sized golf clubs!!
Jonathan loved his chair it rocked and always wanted us to push it!
They also had a life size Chess board and Jonathan thought it was the coolest thing! He loved the Knight it was the perfect height for him to be able to hold on and play with!
We also traveled to Avila beach for the day. And Jonathan got to play in a swing for the first time!!! He LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED it! He thought it was the most exciting thing he would hold on and laugh the whole time!
We have wonderful Life, Family and, Friends and know that we are truly blessed and very lucky. And our family is about to grow again with Adam Aarons brother about to marry Brittney in July! We are so happy for you guys and love you both!

We're still here
So its been a while since we posted but we have been crazy busy. Aaron started back at his last semester of Grad school and our house was hit with sickies. First Jonathan, who has what we figured was just a normal cold till his runny nose came with wheezing and a cough. So I took him to the Dr and they told me that Jonathan has RSV. We were so lucky that it was a mild case and they just sent us home with an inhaler and directions to watch him carefully and come back if it got worse. But in normal Jonathan fashion he did not let it slow him down. He was the usual happy boy that he always is. We are very blessed! So happy he decided that Daddy's new shoe box was the best toy ever! He has been playing with it since.
Then within 24 hours I got sick then 24 hours later Aaron!!! So we were all down at one point. These pictures Aaron took the other night when I was getting Jonathan's bath ready. Aaron got him undressed and I was filling the tub. Aaron then had to do something and was trying to find a convenient place to put Jonathan down. Well he found one! In the Laundry sorter.
Jonathan thought this was great and was perfectly happy and comfortable to play on top of all the clothes in the hamper. He also really liked the handles.
He is getting so big and everyday he does something new and funny to surprise and amuse his parents. He is so good and always goes with the flow. We are so fortunate that even while getting older this trait is not going away.

2nd round of shots
We went to see our pediatrician for Jonathan's routine physical and 2nd set of immunizations. Everything actually went very well during the appointment. He weighs 17 pounds and is in the 50th and 60th percentile in height and weight. His heart sounded great as well. We were very pleased about that, to say the least. They checked his hemoglobin and pricked his finger to which he did not even budge. When it came time to give his shots, he wasn't so happy. He cried during the injection but once it was complete, he stopped and played with me. So, all better right??? NO. We had a horrible night and he woke up every hour or so. This was after being happy all day and playing as usual. He had a meltdown before bed but we sort of expected that. He had a bad night and was a huge booger all day. He finally calmed down after his afternoon nap, so we were on our way back to normal. Not so much.
So, he ate his 2 jars of baby food like normal.About an hour or so passes with Jonathan playing happily. Then he coughed a few times. THEN THIS CAME!!!
Not such a fun time...you can see how much is on the outside...there was twice as much down Kristen's shirt. It was disgusting!
I was amazed with Kristen though, she never flinched and didn't react by holding him away. She held him close to make sure he was alright and her only concerned was for him. It was amazing to see the "MOM" in her with such a revolting sight. She truly is a wonderful mother, just like I told her she would be before we were married. I WAS RIGHT!
P.S. I am required to tell everyone that I posted this blog despite Kristen's wish for me not to post such a "flattering" picture.
