Pismo Beach

So, this post is quite a bit late but I didn't have any of the pictures until this week. Combine that with the surgery, and I think I'll be forgiven. So, the Matsu family and company went to Pismo just before Jonathan's surgery as kind of a last hoorah before the summer ended for all of us. It was a very relaxing vacation. We stayed at a hotel which was literally right on the beach, (awesome), and it was the single most relaxing vacation ever. I think mostly because we didn't really have any set plans. It was a very "fly by the seat of our pants" kinda trip. So, we did just that, relax and chill. We spent some time walking on the beach, shopping, (although, with our finances in the cellar until financial aid came, it was more looking than anything), eating around and playing. We managed to stay out of the sun for 3 days until we were leaving to come home and stopped in Avila for lunch, where the sun was blazing, and in the 3 hours we were there, Kristen and I both got a little burned. The trip was nice, we were relaxed when we came home, which is amazing cuz usually we need a rest from the trip, and it was exactly what we needed. Here are some pictures of the fun.

This is proud Grandpa D-Wayne chillin' on the beach

These are called Fun Cars. They have two wheels in the front, and 1 in the back. They are about 3-4 feet wide, and super fun. It's almost like driving the cars at Disneyland, they are sooooo small. D-Wayne and I overlapped by like a foot or so, and the helmet is a requirement, even though it would fit a Keebler Elf.

So, the BEST thing we did on vacation were rent some Segway scooters. These things are AWESOME! Check out the link to see what they are. These things are the funnest thing to play around with, especially on the beach in the surf. You can even catch some air with them. They are the top pf the list for our Christmas List now, so take note!

How fun! Even though I spent my teenage years there, I never really did anything fun at the beach! We just swam and layed out. I would love to rent those things!I am glad you had some "down time" before Jonathan's surgery. I'm sure it was well needed. Give that little guy lots of love from "Ninna". Love you all. XOXOXO

Thanks friend =) How come you didn't ride in the little cars? Aaron looks like a giant in them! But you would have fit so perfectly!!
